You will experience the magnificence of Versailles in the decorative mouldings made in the purest rococo tradition, and in the fabrics signed by Tassinari & Chatel, who also supply fabrics for the Château de Versailles. Standing on the majestic terrace, one of the largest of Le Negresco, you will dominate the palm trees of the Promenade des Anglais and the bright horizon of the Mediterranean. The shimmering blue water accentuates the golden features of the salon, with its bows, medallions and garlands of flowers, in the traditional 18th century spirit of elegance and pleasure.
Some of the period pieces in this suite are particularly noteworthy, including the duchesse brisée daybed and a splendid French Regence inlaid clock. The rich rocaille curves of the bed and the trimmings made by the prestigious Houlès and Declercq houses, established more than one hundred and fifty years ago and accredited with the EPV ("Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" - “Living Heritage Company”) label, will take you on a journey back to the days of Watteau’s “fêtes galantes”, comforted by the light of the South of France.

Enter the fascinating and unique realm of Montserrat Caballé, the diva with the golden voice who was a regular guest at Le Negresco. The vast drawing room awaits visitors and is beautifully appointed according to the exquisite taste of the extraordinary Norma. From the spacious terrace with its majestic colonnade, the blue horizon stretches as far as the eye can see, broken up only by the palm trees of the Promenade des Anglais.
