The Negresco concept is to give our clients the possibility to discover the great periods of French history through a collection of more than 6,000 works of art from Louis XIII to today. A private French establishment, The Negresco holds the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) certificate as well as the "Ecolabel" for environmental standards.

Located between Cannes and Monaco, The Negresco, in Nice, overlooks the Promenade des Anglais, one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of Angels. The art collection of The Negresco is a panel of works ranging from classical to contemporary, covering almost five centuries of history with works by the most talented and best-known masters. Each of the 100 rooms and 25 suites is decorated and personalized with exceptional period furniture inspired by the most remarkable phases of French art.

Be they contemporary, baroque or classical, most of the rooms have a view of the sea or the gardens. With over 100 years of history/existence, The Negresco, symbol of the essence of French "art de vivre", welcomes celebrities, actors, artists and heads of state. The Negresco, with its rich and varied decoration, is also the perfect setting for movie directors with over 30 films produced!

To accompany this French "art de vivre" there is, of course, gastronomy: don't miss the enticing cuisine of our Chef and MOF (French worker of the year), Virginie Basselot. Choose the place which best fits you: Go to the MICHELIN-starred Chantecler for a journey of your senses or enjoy a surprising moment in our Brasserie, The Rotonde.
