With soft colors, silk or velvet hangings, the “Deluxe Sea View” rooms are richly decorated. Some say they are the quintessence of “French taste”. Negresco “Deluxe Sea View” rooms will charm you with their feeling of comfort and the beautiful view they offer of the Baie des Anges.
The “Deluxe” rooms are the perfect example of “Palace” rooms. They offer what is most important today, space and quietness. They all have a salon area and are luxuriously equipped with a mixture of contemporary furniture and collector’s pieces unearthed among the antique shops. The “Deluxe” rooms look over the interior dome of the Negresco, offering a flow of light in the afternoon.
The “Exclusive” rooms perfectly embody the “Negresco Spirit” as desired by Madame Augier. In the style of Louis XIV or Marie-Antoinette, baroque or classic, the period furniture takes you on a unique journey through the history of France. The “Exclusive” rooms look out on the gardens of the Palais Masséna and its century-old palm trees with the sea and the Baie des Anges in the background.
For its new room concept, The Negresco has called on the expertise of Studio Marc Hertrich & Nicolas Adnet as well as the participation of four other “Living Heritage Companies”: Horus, M.E. Dupont, Rémy Garnier and Objet insolite.
Located in a recently renovated wing, the seven Rivoli rooms look out onto the park of the Palais Massena, providing very beautiful views of the green gardens.
Inside, can be discovered first of all very coloured ambiances creating a surprise effect. They have been designed with two-toned palettes around three colour alliances: hues of reds and golden yellows, a palette of emerald greens and golden yellows, bright yellows interspersed with royal blues.
The furniture which is classical, Dadaist or Louis XVI inspired, has been stylised and designed specifically for The Negresco, and is covered in fabric from the houses of Dedar, Rubelli and Lelievre. The bathrooms are laid out with this classic and contemporary “very Negresco “decoration: vivid stripes on the walls, marble, modernised bronzes in chrome version.
The “Superior” rooms are pretty and cosy and give the unique feeling of living in a beautiful French residence. Overlooking the interior facade, the rooms are very quiet with classic decoration and light throughout the afternoon.
