High society and chic evenings, the myth was perpetuated with Jeanne Augier who purchased Le Negresco in 1957. She continued the incredible story of the Palace. The painter Dali, Princess Grace of Monaco, the Beatles, Louis Armstrong, Elton John... she personally greeted celebrities and started a collection of valuable artwork and furniture.
